Races & Cultures

Aşağı

The Aşağı are the descendants of the Üstün, the “Modern” Elf after the fall of the Üstün. They are weaker than their ancestors and lack the natural link to the Aether. Usually lithe and with a slight point to their ears.

A notable Aşağı is that of the Pavis Dominion, whom believe they are their ancient Üstün ancestors and rule their empire as the old Üstün Empire before them never fell.

Dwarves

The Dwarves were one of the first races to settle Fera, long before Humans had evolved to their current state as Fera’s dominant race. Along with the ancient Üstün, the Dwarves settled many areas of the world and it was not until the Rise of the Üstün that these races descended and colonised many of the mountains and dug deep into Fera, creating vast cities to hide away from their enemies.

Many Dwarven cities still remain underground or carved into mountains but the Dwarves are not solely live underground, vast cities on the surface and even high up on mountain tops show the Dwarven capability to carve stone.

One such Kingdom, the Maktashish Kingdom of Vadras, is one such sprawling land ruled by the Dwarves.

Gnomes

Gnomes are one of the common races, and are also known as one of the smallest common races. Gnomes are very resilient, commonly, these races stand almost 3 feet over in height. The diminutive stature of the Gnomes reduces its capability to move quickly. Gnomes often take advantage of their size, while fighting those foes which are much larger than itself.

Half-bloods

Half-Orc

Half-orcs are the mixed species of the humans as well as the orc tribe. This is the reason that they have characteristics and traits of both of them. Their agility and physical power is something that comes from both the races but still have been shunned several times.

Half-Yuan-ti

Yuan-ti Half-bloods are the most human-seeming of all yuan-ti breeds. They are snake-human hybrids, which were created in the earliest days of civilisation. Their culture fell from an advanced and enlightened state into cruelty and fanaticism. Pure bloods are described as human-like with minor reptilian features like a forked tongue, snake-like eyes, and patches of scales on their skin. Their heights and weights range is same as humans.

Siren

The Siren race was one of the oldest races on Fera, their existence predates the Üstün, in fact their Empire once ruled over the Üstün, until the Üstün managed to rise up and take hold of the Ethereal powers of the Universe.

The name ‘Siren’ is not their real name, their true name lost to the annals of history. Once a mighty Empire, now merely slaves to the Üstün Empire and looked down upon by most other races.

Sprouting horns and tails, the Siren are multicoloured in appearance, ranging from a light blue to a deep red.

Dragonkin

Dragonkin are humanoid descendants of Dragons, their origin is not understood clearly but their strengths are. Wide wings and long tails, these creatures are able to breath various elements as with their ancestors.

Various societies of Dragonkin exist, either roving communities like those in the Ilmarian Imperium or settlers of grand Empires like the rest of the races around them. The Kalewen Dynasty is one key Dragonkin Empire settled in the Pawhye – The New World, their Capital city of “The City Of Glass” a marvel to behold; entirely constructed in Glass forged from the Sands around them by their own breath.

Fae

The Fae are a winged humanoid race from the continent of Pawhye – The New World. Solitary creatures, the Fae remain hidden to the world, only the Dragonkin of the Kalewen Dynasty traded with the human like creatures.

Halflings

The goals of most Halfling’s are the comforts of home. Although some Halflings live out their days in remote agricultural communities, others form nomadic bands that travel continuously, lured by the open road and the wide horizon to discover the wonders of new lands and peoples. But even those wandering people love peace, food, neck, and home, although the house can be a wagon with a dirt road or a furnace swim sword.

Humans

Throughout the known world, humans have thrived. They spread far and wide and although their origins are unknown, the many cultures through out the world has grown and grown.

Üstün

The Üstün were once the rulers of Fera, but not the first; after rising up from beneath the race now known only as Siren, the Üstün became the dominant race on Fera for thousands of years, all until history repeated itself and the Human race, along with allies in the other “Lower” races rose up against their masters during the reign of the evil Kräl Şah Yilmazok Akar
